A New Chapter in Global Medical Exchange
On February 24, 2025, the third session of the Biological Medicine Study Tour was held at Paracelsus Clinic in Switzerland. Organized by the Paracelsus Academy in collaboration with the Functional MediC Clinical Training Program (FMCTP), the five-day program welcomed ten clinical doctors, health practitioners, and wellness enthusiasts from across China.
Opening Ceremony: A Warm Welcome and Time-Honored Traditions
The study tour commenced with a heartfelt welcoming ceremony. Dr. Sonja Lewandowski, Director of the Paracelsus Academy, introduced attendees to the Academy’s signature “Three Pillar Teas”—Detox Tea, Immune Tea, and Regeneration Tea. Crafted from Swiss Alpine herbs, these teas symbolize the clinic’s commitment to holistic healing.
Dr. Lewandowski also introduced the expert faculty leading the program, which included Biological Medicine doctors, dentists, nutritionists, and support personnel. Liu Xi, CEO of Functional MediC, expressed gratitude to the Academy for its well-structured courses and acknowledged the participants’ enthusiasm for expanding their medical expertise. Nicole Jia, CEO of Paracelsus Clinic, welcomed the participants, who came from diverse professional backgrounds, including functional medicine, endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, investment, and design.

An Intensive Curriculum: From Theory to Hands-On Practice
Following the opening ceremony, participants embarked on a rigorous learning journey centered around the Paracelsus Academy’s “Three Pillar System”—detoxification, immune health, and cellular regeneration.
Courses covered advanced diagnostic techniques such as dark field microscopy, thermographic imaging, toxin analysis, and biological dentistry, providing insights into their role in chronic disease management. Practical sessions in neural therapy allowed participants to explore techniques for autonomic nerve regulation, addressing adrenal fatigue and enhancing overall well-being.
The curriculum also highlighted the crucial link between biological dentistry and systemic health, particularly for patients with chronic conditions. Case studies demonstrated the effectiveness of cutting-edge diagnostics in precise assessment and treatment planning.
Hands-On Experience: Bringing Theory to Life
Each theory-based learning day was followed by practical application sessions, allowing participants to experience diagnostic procedures and treatments firsthand. These included thermography, dark field microscopy, hyperthermia, colon hydrotherapy, intravenous infusions, and Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Training (IHHT). By undergoing these treatments, participants gained a deeper understanding of their therapeutic benefits.
The study tour’s completion marks a significant milestone in the participants’ professional journeys. Through this immersive experience, they have acquired foundational knowledge in Biological Medicine and its specialized approach to chronic disease management and anti-aging therapies.
As the Paracelsus Academy continues to foster international medical collaboration, we look forward to welcoming more Chinese doctors and health practitioners to future study tours, strengthening global advancements in functional and Biological Medicine.
